I was looking out at my bird feeder this morning and didn’t see much activity until I looked down. There were no songbirds, but apparently Mr. & Mrs. Mallard and a rabbit were enjoying themselves. The best thing we ever did was plant eleven Norway spruce in clusters along the landscaping hill in our backyard about eight years ago. Not only is it private, but the trees attract all kinds of wild things.
