My brother and his wife and kids came over to watch a movie in our basement theater. When we were finishing the basement, I splurged on a commercial style popcorn popper and when company comes we make lots of popcorn! Admittedly, I probably ate half of it by myself tonight.
That sounds like tons of fun. I've had to go off corn and all corn products due to some health issues, but I used to love eating a bag at the movies. And aside from the family fun- you've taken a great picture of that old movie time staple too!
@sarasdadandmom No dispenser, but I had a big bottle of the butter I heated in the microwave for awhile. I can't be trusted with it so I didn't replenish it when it ran out.
@musikinsey@olivetreeann I can't imagine not being able to eat corn. I love it in all forms. It must be difficult to avoid it since it is used in so many products.
that shot is so nostalgic in so many ways... obviously the subject, but also the lighting, tone, and composition add to it. I would probably put the whole bottle of butter on if it were me, so perhaps it was a wise move to just let that go when it was empty... ha ha ha
