There is an August Abstract Challenge on the discussion boards, and I thought I might try my hand at it. I’m going to put them in one of my alternate albums, but since this is my first attempt I thought I needed to represent it in my 365 album. Did you know there are male and female pine cones? Don’t ask me what this one is. They all looked androgynous to me.
Someone once told me that the female pine cones were the longer ones and the males were the smaller ones. I found that hard to believe. I'm pretty certain they were making it up to impress me. But I do know there are male and female pinecones, however the key to recognizing them, is not one of the things I know. Doesn't matter- it's a good abstract anyway!!
