We are in Cleveland again. This time around I can admit our business trips here relate to our new jobs. This is our third trip, and we still haven't seen the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
I finally figured out how to download a photo to my iPad, edit it, and then post it. It's not much of a photo, but it's all I had time to do.
Oooh! I hope you make it to the R&R Hall of Fame and Museum. It is really worth the time and money. Caution: You're not allowed to take photos, but that doesn't mean you can't try! Just know that *they* watch you! And they'll call you out!
Several years ago, I did a week-long education seminar there! That was an awesome experience. We had behind-the-scenes tours, met a few music-makers. I like to tell this story from that week: At the time, exhibits of Jimi Hendrix and Jim Morrison were in a long enclosed glass case that you had to look down at. Each was several feet in length, one and then the other. I inched my way along, moving toward the right. I was only slightly aware of the person on my right wearing big, dark-framed glasses. We were sometimes practically touching arms. The next day, it was announced that Elvis Costello had visited the building the day before! I could have kicked myself for not being more attentive! But I was really into the exhibits' artifacts. It's not unusual for people in the industry to just stop by unannounced, so be on the look-out!
Good luck with your new jobs. Does this mean a move to Cleveland is in your future?
@erikadee I had to download an app that would allow me to attach something to e-mail. I also download a photo editing app, but I am not in love with it. Last, but not least, I bought a card reader kit for IPad from apple. It was kind of a pain!
@mebswartz No way am I moving to Cleveland! After my dad got really sick and was almost five hours away in Michigan I swore I would never live that far from family. Plus they get too much snow in Cleveland.
I didn't make it to the R&R hall, but after your story, I really want to go. I know I will be going back, so maybe I can work it out.
