We usually go all out decorating for Halloween; however, last year the trick-or-treating was over before it even got dark so we decided to forget it this year. Katy asked if she could put up a few decorations and it snowballed from there. Every night Bill has been outside adding something else. He even has scary music on an ipod that is connected to the lights so they will blink in time. The windows have scary window clings and we have flashing strobe lights in the front rooms. What you can’t see are the buzzards, bats, and spiders that don’t light up and the rest of the stuff that we haven’t put out yet like the life-size dancing skeleton and Headless Harry. Christmas is even worse.
I love it! "Can I just go put up a FEW decorations?" Hee hee I dont' decorate but I enjoy my neighbor's efforts. CHeck out this Mummy inside glass door one of my neighbor's has up. It is scary! Totally fun!!! I love it when people decorate for the holidays. We usually do a full-blown decorating of Christmas, but somehow it didn't happen last year. I hope we go back to doing it up right this year. I can't wait to see a photo of your Christmas decorations in a few months. :o)
You would love my brother-in-law's house. In his little quarter-inch of an acre, he crams so much stuff there's a stream of traffic constantly going by just to see it. The thing is though he puts it all up on Halloween eve and takes it all down Halloween night after the last trick or treater because he doesn't want anyone to figure out his "tricks". Insanity.

Have you noticed an increased traffic flow in your neighborhood at night? This looks like one of the places my girls would have been saying, "Please can we go drive by the Halloween house?", when they were little. Love it! Spooktacular! :)
