These are all leaves off of my very favorite shrub, the oakleaf hydrangea. It’s a behemoth that looks good almost all year round. Even in the winter the dry blossoms cling to the branches and add interest to the barren landscape. I tried to get a good picture of the entire shrub, but I gave up and settled on plucking some of the leaves off for this shot.
Wow, so many rich, lovely colors! I have been wanting to do a collage of different leaves or a leaf collection of different colored leaves from different trees, but haven't managed time for a "leaf expedition" yet!
