This is one of the conference rooms in our new office space. Between the table and the backlit wall, I imagine this is what the conference room might look like on the Starship Enterprise. The door on one side is literally a garage door and the other end has a giant salvaged wood door that slides to the side. The fish tank on the left is a window to the reception area. The floor is a very textured (majorly bumpy) concrete. Bill and I had our first guest this week, and couldn’t help but laugh as we closed the garage door after entering the conference room.
Totally Starship Enterprise...especially if those doors would automatically slide open when one approaches them ~ I always thought that was so cool on Star Trek. :)
OMGosh! I really love it! But I have to laugh at your comments, too. It's very odd in an eclectic and modern sort of way. I really like that you're documenting this transition to your new space in this project... it will be good to look back on. :)
