After I assembled the crowd of nutcrackers I noticed that many of them have the exact same mustaches, goatees and hair color. Here they are, ready for battle with their swords, drums, and spatulas.
I think the mustache and beard are conventional. They distract from the actual nutcracker. Despite this, I love the cook. So cute and a wonderful collection. You should make it your Christmas card!
I'll take down the one with spatula...someone else can take on the guy with the sword. :) Love your nutcracker collection!! When we downsized to our city space I had to part with so much of my huge collection of Christmas decorations including my nutcracker collection. I really miss them...until it's time to pack things up after Christmas and put it back in the attic. :)
So cute. I don't think I've seen nutcrackers ready for battle with either swords or spatulas. I usually see those with drums or other musical instruments :)
I can see we have a lot in common! I turned 50 this past August, love cats, collect nutcrackers... Let's see here are few more things about me. Live in the country, love all seasons, not too crazy about the cold however. Love to boat, fish... live in the country. I too have wanted to really dive into Photography for as long as I can remember and finally made it a goal on my bucket list to get a nice camera lenses....hubby got me a nikon D3000 and lenses for Christmas so I am truly just beggining! Great pic btw!
@shirljess We do have a lot in common! Only I am stuck in the suburbs, but dream of living in the country. I have learned an incredible amount in the past year by doing this project. Some days it's a chore, but I love it enough to stick around for year two.
