Pretty but poisonous!

I love these flowers and always had many shrubs in our garden in Germany! Unfortunately I have been trying for years to get one here in SA, they are banned here although they line hundreds of km's of national roads.

Beautiful, they make nice hedges. never knew they're poisonous.
