Evocative of some of the sights and smells of this windswept town on the Atlantic coast. Has become even more ramshackle since my last visit about 30 years ago - still has a rugged charm though and we are sorry to be leaving today. The main thing missing from this photo is cats - they are everywhere here in Essaouira!
