Crowning glory

Spotted these bright pink flowers at the end of our street - apparently they are crown pinks. Very small but attention grabbing nonetheless.
Beautiful. Also called rose campion, we have white campion growing in our yard.

They look so pretty against the pale green of the leaves

Gorgeous bright pink.
If I may make an editing suggestion I learned here on 365: reds are quite difficult to capture and if you want to see more details, you might want to decrease the saturation of the colours just a bit. You can do that in any image editor, including the native editor of the phone photo gallery. Maybe you want to give that a try with this one. Here, the details in the petals are quite lost because of the bright colour. Just have a go and see what happens. maybe I am talking rubbish :D :D :D I'm sorry if I do.
I was just sharing my experience and what I do with such bright reds to get the most of the details.

I came back to this one to see what @monikozi recommended. She really knows her stuff and always has great suggestions doesn’t she?!

@grammyn :) Hahaaaa!!! Someone once told me that my name means 'the one who gives advice'. I guess that's a limiting belief I wear about...
