Late summer ripeness by lizgooster

Late summer ripeness

Back in Cambridge and, feeling jetlagged after over 24 hours travelling and a 7 hour time difference, I took Ellie for a wander at my favourite Wandlebury. The sunlight was gorgeous and my eye was caught by this plant, which I don't remember ever seeing before - apparently it's a wild carrot.
Sweet light

Wonderful detail and light. We were in Borneo in the 90's and loved it.

Lovely. A nice bank holiday weekend to catch up and recover.

It looks so pretty in this light. I hope you are rested up soon.

Looks like Queen Anne’s Lace, gone to seed. It is in the carrot family. Hope you get over the jet lag soon. I’ve certainly enjoyed your trip.

@illinilass you are very knowledgeable Dorothy, thank you! I love the name Queen Anne’s Lace. And I think we’re just about over our jet lag now.
