Fletcher Creek Preserve

We hiked today at the Fletcher Creek Ecological Preserve. It is the site of an abandoned limestone quarry that has been rehabilitated. The environmental improvements created a rare type of wetland, and a new breeding area for leopard frogs, snakes, and small mammals like groundhogs, foxes and bats.
It’s also very beautiful.
It's a lovely place! But I can do without the snakes. LOL!

Lovely capture, the water is so clear.

BTW my blanket flowers only bloomed in the last couple of days :)
