This house is on one of our regular dog walking routes. The people decorate like mad for each and every holiday, but hallowe’en most of all. With the pandemic though, they’ve started…layering, I guess? They don’t take things down before adding the next holiday. Which is why you get wild skeletons juxtaposed with the Pray Hope Love Joy words from last Christmas.
They must really love Hallowe’en. There are at least 30 skeletons all over the yard - they take weeks to set up and every year is different. There are skeletons dancing and skeletons playing in the leaves. One is skiing, one is on an elliptical trainer, and one is doing the limbo. There’s one on the shed roof with a telescope. There are skeletons on motorcycles and skeletons fishing (with skeleton fish on their lines of course). I bow down before this kind of commitment. I’m just here for the chocolate, to be honest.
