Highrise Pussycat

For Flash of Red - Found Object. This giant cat sits on a utility box in downtown Toronto. I’m not sure this counts, as the cat statue is an intentional decoration, but I found it and it’s art so it’s going in.
I like how the curvy cat is framed by the angular buildings.

I’d say it is a found object.

The round cat looks good in this geometric environment.

It absolutely counts. I gather more than a few of us have struggled a bit with this weeks theme but it is really interesting to see all the different interpretations, all valid. Great tones and reflections in this shot.

If you found it, it fits. It’s quite a sight.

@johnfalconer They are real reflections, yes. The utility box/terminal/thingie has a highly reflective surface.

I think it counts Laura

What a neat statue!

It definitely counts- as others have said, this genre has a very wide range of interpretation. This one- although purposely put there- falls in the surreal aspect of "found art". It makes no sense to put a giant cat on top of a utility structure!
