I woke up this morning to sunlight shining in my window. Beautiful oranges and golden yellows. I grabbed a photo of my window pretty much in my first moment of awakeness :) However after getting ready for my first day at work... YES!!!! :::little happy dance:: I snapped this. I've been wanting to do one of my eye and am never happy with them. I wanted to document this one anyway, so in the future I can remember how much i've grown :) And it's the best i've managed to do so far. I guess the window shot will just have to wait, but maybe tomorrow will allow the same beauty.
Oh the first day was great!! Real training starts tomorrow and I am ready. No butterflies :)
im another one saying "wow, look at those perfectly shaped eyebrows!"..hehehe....So, what does your new job involve? Glad the butterflies are all gone ;)

You ladies made me giggle! My eyebrows? haha, I have always looked at them as untamed!! I hate waxing, well my skin does :) Good set of tweezers and manicure little baby scissors is all you need! Thank you for all the great feedback too :)

@mnallphoto I had natural sunlight, a ridicoulsy bright lamp and switched my lens to AF because my real first try I did on MF and that was a HUGE mistake with my experience level. I aimed it the "3rd eye" and hoped it worked. Then cropped that baby. I dunno if that helps or not :) Good luck though!!! And thank you for the comment!

I'm not overly fond of eye shots, but I like everything about this one - the angle, composition, the focus, the tones..brilliantly executed!
