Going my way? Grab your parachute!

Every highway in Dallas is getting updated, so many new "flyovers", new highways for the millions of people in my part of the big state of Texas. This road is almost finished, it's amazing how they all come together, with "this" meeting "that" so perfectly, so high in the air!
There is always some type of roadwork happening where we live. It is very interesting how they build roads and bridges.

So that's what they call them . . . flyovers! They are certainly amazing! We have a couple in and around San Antonio but nothing close to what you have in Dallas. Great shot . . . wonderful POV! :-)

@nicolecampbell So Australia is road construction crazy, too?! @gaylewood We just wish they would get through this year! It's not happening, will be another year or two just in our area. Thank you for your comment!

Wow Lou Ann! You said I wouldn't recognize the area! I don't recall *anything* like this in the early 70s! Of course we have lots of this in our area, and I often photograph it as we drive by, thinking I should show my friends in Nova Scotia. They just wouldn't believe it!

It is amazing how they put these new overhead highways together. There is a major one being built in Adelaide at the moment. Major traffic mayhem in the meantime. Is that what is like for you too?

It's amazing how roads are built nowadays. The wonders of new technologies.

@Weezilou @claudiet @littleconnie @gigiflower The congestion all the construction causes is so frustrating. When I'm out and about I play books on CDs in my car, they take my mind off the slow, confusing pace and help me get to where I'm going. Dallas is at traffic gridlock at the moment. I hope all the road construction will help, at least a little.
