I just couldn’t throw it away

When I dropped this ornament, the back shattered but the front was still intact. I added it to the ornament basket and unless you look really close you wouldn’t know the back is gone. There are one or two other ornaments in the basket like this one, it’s nice to have a place for the broken ones. In my extras album.
Lovely idea

Looks like you have some antique ornaments

That's clever, just be careful when you take it out again ;-)

Not noticeable, but don't cut yourself when retracting them.

I'm sorry your ornament broke and it still looks pretty. I have a couple of older ornaments that are hanging in there and I don't want to lose them. I don't see ones like them anymore.

Beautiful ornaments & you could never tell this one had a broken back Lou Ann.

I hold my breath every year on one or two - more so now with Jerik - but looking at the basket, it looks perfect.

How clever of you to capitalize on the tragedy this way. A great colllage to show us. I may steal your basket idea with some ornaments I have from my parents!

Too pretty to throw away, I agree....I have a number of "old" ones in my ornament basket & no one would know...

This ornament caught my eye in the basket yesterday and you found a great way to keep it! Well done!
