Maybe a quick duck dive

This Mallard was at the pool at our YMCA and looked like he was considering diving in for a quick swim. He waited patiently for me to take his photo through the pool fence and when I turned to leave he flew away.

A "duck dive" is actually a surfing move, the surfer goes through the wave! That would be easy for a duck. I just loved this little guy, he wasn't there this morning, I was disappointed!
