The icy pyramid, in color by louannwarren

The icy pyramid, in color

This was the scene yesterday morning that caused me to grab my camera and go outside for a photo or two (or twenty!) of the thin sheet of ice on the patio table and the little light catcher pyramids I keep outside. The clear pyramid is the one I highlighted for the Flash of Red yesterday.
Excellent.

@gaylewood Thank you, Gayle! I have a feeling that tiny thin layer of ice is all we will get this year in the way of winter precipitation. Iā€™m pretty afraid we are starting on another drought!

Lovely shiny capture. I imagine you are not sitting at this table enjoying a lemonade right now?

Your table top looks like that amazingly beautiful glass that's used to make jewelry to serving pieces but I've never seen a table top! If this is actually that, I'm duly impressed! If this is Mother Nature's work, alone, she did you a beautiful favor!!! Wow! (I think I'm wanting to use the name, Dichroic glass...)
