The Truman House in Independence, Missouri

When Harry Truman married Bess Wallace in 1919, they lived in her family home, with her mother. It was built by Bess’ grandfather in 1867. When Truman was President this was “The Summer White House”, from 1945 to 1953. After his presidency the Trumans returned to their home in Independence and he began his work on his Library and Museum.
Great capture of that beautiful and quaint looking house.
