We have honored our country’s Independence Day with fireworks since July 4, 1777, one year after the signing of the Declaration of Independence. There’s something so celebratory about them, we have fireworks shows all summer, really. This was the opening salvo last Friday night at Grapevine Lake.
I don't mind displays like this- they're fun to photograph and very patriotic. But the neighbors who are setting the backyard variety right now are driving me nuts! Good shot! Happy 4th to you too!
my friend and i watched the Canada day fireworks by the water and it never fails to mesmerize me. photographing it though is a little tough. i got 50 shots and only a doze or so were passable. your capture is really good, i like the variety of colours. aces!

Fireworks is one technique I have yet to even attempt.
