At the Crystal Bridges Museum this Gene Davis (1920-1985) painting “Black Balloon” qualified for the U-uniform Alphabet August challenge, in my eyes. Every stripe exactly, uniformly, the same width and length. The 1964 painting is one of the Crystal’s permanent collection pieces, on display now for the Georgia O’Keeffe “Beyond” Modern Art show.

I've got to look for this one next time - I didn't remember it. As Suzanne said, you look at think "I could have done that and made some money - why didn't I think of it!" My mind just won't work that way. That's a good museum to shoot in, isn't it.
