We call Nishikigoi “Koi” here, I guess you could say it’s their nickname. The Koi Pond at the gardens ran throughout the site, and there were Koi of every size and color. This one swam on the surface just long enough for me to take a quick photo. I took many Koi photos but this is really the only one clear enough to share.
Well done , you did well here especially as there is so much reflection on the water as well I can spot one or two others too - I used to have Koi in my garden pond until the heron cleaned them out so cross and sad !
