The holdout
This city rancher very close to my home has the only parcel of land in the area that hasn’t been sold to developers. We are so hopeful he won’t sell.

The same thing happens around here too , Lou Ann ! Such a shame that we loose out on our beautiful country side - I hope it will go your way and this piece of land will be lefy untouched

It will stay that way until someone inherits it and doesn't want to deal with it or wants the money more! Beautiful composition

That would be a massive shame Lou Ann....such a lovely peaceful place! Building on green field sites is sacrilege!

Very nice. Florida just bought up a bunch of ranch land to keep it from development.

What beautiful colors together. Do hope that rancher hangs in there and doesn't sell it - too much beautiful land has been lost to developers

Thank you so much for commenting. Alas, a “For Sale” sign went up yesterday. The cattle rancher has too hard of a time rounding up his cattle and moving them because of the increased traffic we are now experiencing. The location of this land is very well suited to a multi use development, I’m sure it won’t be on the market very long. I’m so glad I took this photo.

We are sad, it seems every available parcel of land in our area is being purchased and developed.

unbelievable and how fortuitous of you to have the shot that will be a real collector's item once the land is destroyed by a development
