The lake water’s edge just creeped past those shrubs and kept coming.

When I took photos at the lake it was so obvious the level was up. I thought this photo showed the rising water well. It’s starting to be so hot that the water will evaporate away from those shrubs in no time. Many parts of the country are dealing with life threatening flooding, devastating for so many.
Surely this water would be welcome? Very pretty right at this point!

I'm wondering what our water levels will be like in August- at the moment it appears it will be high for that time of year. But we don't get as hot as you do. There sure has been a lot of rain in the last year! Good shot!

I love the shimmery affect on the water and such neat reflections. Our water level has dropped nearly 9 feet in the last 4 days. Hooray
