Just walking along

This striking ceramic sculpture is “Walking Flower” (La fleur qui marche), on the lawn of the Kimbell Art Museum. It was sculpted by the French artist Fernando Leger in 1952 and acquired by the Kimbell in 2011. I was amazed that it is a ceramic piece, and outside! Obviously a sturdier ceramic than our kitchen dishes.
