Grapevine held their parade Saturday. It was a beautiful day, we had a lovely time. Jerry served in the U S Navy for 23 years. He began his career (at 17 years of age) as a storekeeper aboard the aircraft carrier the USS Hornet and retired as a Chief Petty Officer Airedale, he hunted submarines all over the world in a P-3 airplane. He loved his time in the Navy.

A Trail Life USA troop, there were so many children in the parade, it was a special, sweet day. This for the November Word “Veterans Day”.
I am so glad Vets are now getting the honor they deserve. I'm sure there's still more we can do but it's better now I think. Heartfelt thanks from the LeFevre household for Jerry's service to our country! Great collage.
