Pampas Grass in the sunshine by louannwarren

Pampas Grass in the sunshine

Just down the street from the mask on the pavement this stand of Pampas Grass looked so pretty in the morning sunshine. I wish I had taken a photo 5 years ago when I started walking in this area. This Pampas had maybe 3 stalks on it.

@grammyn a photographer posted a video on Facebook of the “Beta Vapors” in downtown Fort Worth Monday. Just blowing mist. I thought the weatherman’s forecast of the vapors sounded crazy because we are 270 miles from the coast. We’ve had a bit of rain, barely enough to measure. 😢

I too grew up with these grasses in many neighborhood yards. We thought it was cool to cut them off and put them in tall floor vases. They lasted a long time and were really quite pretty.
