We had a lovely entertainer at our book club yesterday. We left our masks on for the program, usually we don’t. Even though we were in a private room the restaurant asked us to wear masks except when eating. I thought this photo told the story very well.
Hopefully we will look back at photos like these & have to explain to our young grandchildren what it was like to live during these hard times.

why i can't find a decent book club in this city is beyond me. the one and only time i found one and enjoyed it, i didn't know that there was already a feud brewing within the members. i just didn't want to be in that environment. luckily i found two authors who took me on to review their books before they get published. i like it much better. what was your book this time?
Wow I am surprised you are able to have so many people meeting together during lockdown. It is only now there are no new Covid cases in New South Wales that restrictions have eased and we are able to go to social functions again.
I just ordered so things that you clip on the masks so they done go over your ears. My ears get sore after 4 hours at work. Hope they work. Because I think we will be wearing for sometime.
I'm afraid Joan will probably be right - those masks will be with us for some time to come. I am pretty serious about wearing mine when I'm out of the house and there will be others around. Looks like your book club luncheon was quite festive
