FoR Portraits 3

This is Gary, the manager of a popular restaurant in our community. At book club the other day I asked him if I could take his photo. He happily obliged. You can see his smile in his eyes. Still on rotating power snd now water is frozen but tomorrow will be a lot warmer and all will be well.
His eyes are smiling

This is a terrific black-and-white photo with some fabulous contrasts. Hang in there with your water and power issues.

you know, law, just like your beautiful smile, your positive attitude really comes across the wires/screen. it never fails to make me feel good.

this is a good shot and you captured the sincerity of Gary's smile. aces!

there was one day when my sister and i were walking on a street, and she heard me say 'good morning' to someone going the opposite direction. my sister asked how do i know how to greet these people when you can't see their whole faces. i said you can tell a person is smiling because the smile reaches their eyes and you just have to acknowledge it. i think my sister is now going crazy looking at people's eyes to see if they're smiling at her so she can return the smile. my sister is a bit crazy, yes.

@summerfield I told my granddaughter to smile behind her mask when Covid first started. I think it’s important to smile behind our masks!

I see people in masks every day at work & you can see smiles in people’s eyes. he does need to pull his mask over his nose though 😊

Yes, it's nice that you can see the smile underneath the mask. I hope you folks make it through the crazy weather- it does eventually go away!
