When you meet someone at NorthPark, you always say “I will meet you at the fountain”. You can see two more vacant storefronts covered in murals on the far side of the fountain.
@grammyn thank you. Those murals are coveting the former L’Occtaine store, I had not been to this mall in three years, and I was sad to see this store had closed. All in all it is a very high end mall so it stands to reason the pandemic would affect the store’s income. We hope new stores will lease the empty spaces.
The pandemic has really affected retail. It became so easy for people to order from Amazon. I do hope the mall will be able to recover. Nice shot.
Yes hip surgery on March 15 and several nurses have said to me it probably compromised my immune system strength although I hadn't really gone anywhere afterwards. More than likely Jeff brought it home and I caught it from him. His version wasn't bad at all. But mine was a completely different story.
That's quite a fountain - I was thinking the other day when I had to make a quick stop at mall in NW Arkansas, that I didn't see how they were going to stay open much longer. Between Covid and on-line shopping, malls have really taken a hit.
