I searched for an official description of this totem pole but couldn’t find one. It certainly looks like the totems from the Indians of the American Northwest.
Fabulous carvings on this beautiful totem pole. Beautifully painted, too. So sad that the Indian cultures have been almost all wiped out after the arrival of white men. I had a very interesting book about the culture of the different Indian tribes.
