This is one panel of a long mural in Lewisville. The artists were commissioned to paint a mural depicting the city’s history. They chose to depict the citizenry as animals that are native to Texas, dressed in the attire of the late 19th century. I will share another panel or two this week. I did laugh at the Milkweed flower headed woman with the Monarch butterfly on her head.
You have leopards in Texas? The artwork is very fanciful and imaginative- reminds me of a children's book. Funny- I do know some women who are as airy as a milkweed with butterflies on them!
