My book club yesterday had a terrific reviewer who presented this book on early Dallas history that was just incredible. She researches the books she presents and found so many enticing tidbits about Dallas. She’s one of those great storytellers that just gets up and talks, she has a photographic memory, and I’m pretty sure she has theater training as well. I came home and ordered two books, one as a birthday gift and one for me!
I would visit with my cousin in Dallas every summer, when I was young. We went swimming, took golf lessons and played "Let's Make a Deal." All my dad's relatives lived in Texas.
