Jerry’s radiation mask

Jerry brought his mask home after his last treatment to show our grandchildren. It’s sitting in a rocker in our living room right now. This was for radiation of the only mass that grew after his immunotherapy treatments. It is on his sternum so the mask was made to hold his chin up out of the way of the beam, and to hold him still for the treatment.

It's scary seeing it in this picture. Jerry must have been very brave to wear it even though it was for his own good. I hope he would not need to wear it again and that he would return to the best of health.

How clever to have a mask like this. However going through that (and other) treatment must have been hard.
I'm sure it was very interesting for the grand kids to see this. Hoping the treatments work.
