It’s okay after all

I resisted taking down my Christmas decorations this year, I really loved having almost every surface covered with decorations. Now that it’s all put away, I’m loving the clean, bare spaces. My Christmas Amaryllis bloomed a second time, I was beyond thrilled.

I am still in the process of putting mine away. I do a little bit every day. As much as I enjoy the feeling I get from the decorations I also like the feeling of having uncluttered spaces again.

There's something quite lovely and peaceful in this view. My Christmas decorations never made it up this year at home...long story... but I do have a little tree at work that has to come down this week for sure! I love the light on this and how warm it feels.
