The iconic Nevada Motel neon sign by louannwarren

The iconic Nevada Motel neon sign

The Nevada Motel opened in 1937, the first motel in Las Vegas to call itself a motel. (A motor inn and hotel combined), it had “garages” and “refrigeration”. In 1950 they added “Vegas Vic” to their sign, he was a marketing icon of the chamber of commerce. I could not find the date the motel closed but the sign went to the Neon Museum in 2000. For my green rainbow today.
Very cool
