Fallen

Arrived after the lawn mower today... the only mushroom was headless! Walked around and found it laying on a patch of moss. Thought it looked pretty perfect for going through the blades!

This looks so unusual. I love the way the cup of the mushroom appears to have turned out the other way. How are you feeling Lois, you must be almost done now with the chemo?

Aww. Great title and picture. Especially after all of the mushroom shots you have taken lately! Amazing how it stayed around for you to take a picture of it. Simply a perfect ending to your theme.

What an interesting collection of mushroom you've posted. I think fungi in all its forms is neat for photos. Always on the lookout for different ones. Nice detail here.

This mushroom cap does look pretty there in the grass. At first glance I thought it almost resembled a butterfly. And then after looking at it some more, I began to think 'toasty marshmallow. hee hee. Silly, I know.

I imagine it must feel a huge relief to be almost at the end of the treatment. I hope the last two sessions go well.
