We were walking along a shopping street when we came upon a sign for Owl Forest. We walked up a flight of stairs and after paying we were able to see 10 or so different owls in a small room with branches and artificial leaves. It was sad to see them chained to the branches but they seemed to enjoy when people pet the back of their heads.
Such a beautiful bird. Love those intense yellow eyes and the handsome markings on his feathers. So sad though to think of them chained to their perches but interesting that they allowed strangers to pet them. I wonder if you got to feel this one's feathers.
