Chimney Sweep

Continuing from yesterday's heating saga... first: no heat and second: smoke coming through the outlets next to the fireplace.
The Chimney Sweep came today with a camera that showed the multiple cracks up the chimney. Unfortunately he wants to cut a hole in the wall to see if the chimney was "buttered" with cement. We'll have to talk a little more about that! He just laughed at my request for a photo of his hand. He's worked on chimneys his whole life and never had that request!
The Heating/Cooling repairman is here now, says that our new Lennox heat pump had a part that melted.. caused by..?? Fortunately the part is covered by warranty!
