Emma is 13 and taking her first pointe class this year. She was waiting for the teacher to call the class into the practice room when I asked to take a photo of her shoes. She happily agreed! The pink and green in the background is the toy area with tables, games, toys and puzzles to occupy little siblings of the students.

Also...my brother in law George came home from the hospital today! His tongue is still paralyzed from the anesthesia tube during his heart surgery, but with speech therapy they're hoping he'll recover. He has a feeding tube that is inserted through his stomach until he's able to use his tongue to eat.
So glad to hear that George was able to come on as scheduled. Now to get that therapy working quickly. Wonderful shot of Emma in the pointe position - those shoes are so lovely against the light of the flooring.
