Crystal

This is another of those shots I keep trying to do on rainy days. Macro shot of etched crystal or cut crystal. This is etched. I've taken a couple of shots that work but I didn't realize how many defects are in the glass. With the macro lens every scratch or imperfection shows. When you look closely you can see vertical scratches as well as some bubbles. I cropped this to take out the worst defects. Thinking I am going to give up on this project. It has been interesting to watch what happens to the reflections from the cuts.
