Winter Rose by lstasel

Winter Rose

Spent the day doing more gardening. Cleaned flower pots and planted pansies, cleaned the pond, sprayed the poison ivy that won't die and finally got to take some photos. The Winter Roses are almost done blooming. They all have their seedpods and have lost most of there color. This one caught my eye with it's little pink edges and green and yellow in the center.
Very nice shot. Love the tiger too. Will call you all tomorrow night after I am home.

@tesssa Thanks Tessa, yes it is a helleborus. One of the Christmas Roses that start blooming in December rather than the Lenten Roses. It started out white then developed pink and green accents. My profile picture shows a photo taken on Jan. 1st.
