First try at focus stacking. Was pretty easy to stack and blend the photos in Photoshop but I really needed a couple more exposures to get the full range of sharpness. I got the edges of the flower and the center but the middle of the petals are still soft.
The deeper the flower the more images you need and you've picked one with a lot of depth, still, with your aperture at f/16 I would have expected it to keep more of the flower in focus. Do you mind me asking how may images you did combine?
@westerly45 Thanks Susan. @gardencat Thanks Joanne. I only had 3 images. Looking at the image I think I really needed 4 - 5 images but also think I could have spaced my focus points better. Not bad for a first try.
