Thief

I put some sunflower seeds on top of the rail for the squirrel. Spotted this little guy sneaking off with them.
Lovely focus and detail.

How do you manage to get such perfect timing on these shots? Perspective is great, title defines it and the monochromatic mood is terrific.

@elaine55 @juliac @blueberry1222 @jan20 Thanks for all of the nice comments Ladies.

Thanks Daweenie. It is a combination of patience and luck. I had the camera set up for the squirrel that had been climbing on the rail and looking in the window. I put some of his sunflower seeds on the rail to see if he would climb back up (it is about 1' from the window). He didn't come back but I noticed the seeds were disappearing so I sat on the floor and waited until the titmouse came back. It was getting dark by that time so the darkness is from underexposing to keep my speed up. I don't have a very long lens so I have to be patient and wait for the animals/birds to approach.
