Do you recall what setting accounted for which photo? I definitely like the top two more than the bottom, as you have better exposure on the grass. Maybe the top one works best?
@rockinrobyn You are correct Robyn. The top photo is spot metering, the second is matrix ( meters first for the focus point and then evaluates the rest of the photo ) and the last is center metered. The focus point on all of the photos is the center of the tree trunk. I deliberately centered the photo so that the sky would be in the center of the photo to show what happens with center metering if the main focus of the photo is not in the center. My first choice for metering is always spot.
