I'll take what's offered

This bull and a few cows are thriving on the left over grape stems and stalks I stopped to watch this lot, but could not linger longer as the smell of fermenting stalks was awful ( it apparently is a breed called Zebu)
It looks like the cattle have been really enjoying the stalks. They are quite healthy. Very good close up.

Cool...recycling. I would think that if they are fermenting it would either give a sour stomach or may be a tad alcohol? Interesting.

He should be very relax after lunch. Lovely shot. I have never a bull with a hump in its back, is it a typical breed where you live?

@laurieewilson I know that usually grappa is made of this in Italy, so not quite sure how the cows feel 😉

@claudiet I stopped because I've never seen anything like it Claude! From afar it looked like a kind of camel, till I got closer! Not really a beauty

Terrific capture of this creature happily munching away. Wonder if they get a little tipsy on the fermenting vines.
