they look very similar, but seem to have different names in other countries.

Yes we call them either , Wax eye's , White eye's or Silver Eyes.. or the Maori name is Tahou... or Zosterrops Laterralis... so there you go a little bird with lots of names.. Lovely shot as the are quick..
