Little buds of a Fever Tree by ludwigsdiana

Little buds of a Fever Tree

I should have explained how this Acacia got it's name. When the early settlers arrived, they noticed that this Acacia with a pale green stem only grows in areas where there is Malaria. Hence the name Fever Tree.
Never heard of this tree before. Like the little balls on the buds. Great shot that shows their progression.

@littleconnie @henrir It is a variety of Acacia. The fist settlers who came here noticed that the bark is a pale green instead of brown. They also discovered that this tree only grows in areas where there is Malaria, hence the name Fever Tree.
